The Rochester Youth Athletic Association annual scholarship application for 2026 is open through Saturday March 28, 2026. Up to two $1,000 scholarships will be available to graduating high school seniors who are in the Rochester 3A Community Unit School District.

Scholarship Applicants must: 

• Be a current high school senior who is in the Rochester 3A Community Unit School District and plan to attend full time an accredited Vocational, Technical, two or four-year College or University in the United States for the entire 2026-2027 academic school year.  Recipients will be required to show proof of enrollment. 
• Demonstrate outstanding character and ambition as evidenced by achievement in school, community service or work-related activities. 
• Present evidence of leadership and participation in school and/or community.
• Transcripts from the first semester of Senior Year.

Volunteerism, work experience and academic record will be considered in the selection process.  You do not need to be an active or former RYAA participant to apply. 

Winners may not be contacted in advance of the senior breakfast when the scholarship is announced.  Scholarship recipients will be required to show proof of enrollment prior to the scholarship check being awarded.  Once proof of enrollment has been provided, check will be presented during a RYAA board meeting.
